*How we came to be!*

Tanner and I have quite the story of how we met and decided to be married. We met in December of 2010 at BYU-Idaho. One day, my brother Tanner came home from a wallyball class at 9 in the morning, and said to me, "There's this cool kid named Tanner in my wallyball class. You should get to know him." I just kind of blew that off and didn't pay much attention to that comment. A little bit later my brother says to me, "We should play wallyball tonight. Here I'll give you that Tanner kids number, you should invite him to come play." I thought it would be weird texting a boy I didn't even know... but....I consented and did it anyway. That night, Tanner showed up. I thought he was a babe. I found myself staring at him all night, but trying not to make it obvious that I was checking him out. He was so athletic and man, he had the hops!

Wallyball was a blast....I thought tanner was a hottie. End of story. After that, Tanner and I would text every once in a while. No biggie. He would come over to my apartment and I was not impressed...not gonna lie. He and his roommates would do and say things that I didn't necessarily care for. I decided not to give up on him though because he was really cute, really athletic, and I thought I would give him a chance. Well starting in February, we text every single day...nonstop. And when we weren't texting, I felt like something was missing. Really weird. I told Tanner I didn't like that he acted completely different around me then he did his roommates. He took my comment into consideration, and things went uphill from there!

Our first date was in March. We went to G's Dairy and enjoyed some icecream together. I felt so comfortable around him...it was fun. I noticed how well he treated me. He was treating me with respect. That was a big one for me. That's what kept our friendship alive. I had brought this "color code" book that tells you what color you are and who you're compatible with and stuff. Tanner and I took this test and read through this book to find out that we are both...YELLOWS!!! Yellow's motivation is fun. They are the party animals. And this is the best part...."Yellows hardly ever last in long-term relationships or marriage." HAHAHAHAHA that was a great way to end the date.

For the next couple months while we were dating, Tanner always planned the most amazing dates. Whether they be, snowmobiling and kissing me on the 2nd date, mud bogging in homeless clothes, eating a candlelight dinner together in a camper, going on tandem bikerides, eating dinner on my roof, making cakes together, watching y favorite movie outside while looking at the stars, buying me yellow roses with red tips( signifying friendship turning into romance hahaha), or buying me 12 red roses. I could go on and on...but I won't. Let's just say that he is quite the romantic dude, and he LOVED to surprise me. ( he still does)

Tanner told me in like April that he loved me. AHHH. that scared me....I was NOT ready for that. So I made him wait....and wait...and wait some more! I didn't end up telling him I loved him until June. I'm a slow mover.....and he is definitely a FAST one!!! We started talking Marriage in July. That was scary. But it felt so natural at the same time. Things escalated, I fell more and more in love with this boy every day.....and he proposed on July 21, 2011, a day before my birthday. It was a complete surprise, and the cutest proposal EVER, and he got me the most amazing ring on this planet. We set the date for October 8, 2011 in the Rexburg, Idaho temple....and WE CAN'T WAIT!!! On October 8th....we will officially start our journey with each other. FOREVER. Tanner, I love you.

This is the picture we took right after he proposed...

And this is my beautiful ring!
