Sunday thought

Just a thought for this sabbath day. Love it.

Somehow whenever I ask Tuff to help me be Tuff- he does. :) Love you little buddy.

White Water Rafting Round 2

We went white water rafting again this year! It's becoming a tradition. Except this year was even more scary! Holy cow- we were all super scared. We just about tipped the raft. We went with our friends, Kacy and Aj, and Alex. Here's some pics:

We are grateful for our friend Alex for putting it together again for us this year!!

Happy Birthday to me!

Well this year probably will top any other year for my birthday. I think I've written on here how much I've wanted a dog. Well- my dream finally came true!  I grew up with a dog and it was so fun to have him and play with him. I loved my dog. Anyway- 2 Sundays ago I was on the Rexburg Garage sale website, and this is what I saw:
Isn't that the cutest thing you ever did see?! That's what I thought.
I saw it on facebook and immediately showed Tanner. He thought it was adorable too and told me to text her to go look at him. So i did, and 4 hours later, we went and looked at him. There was 3 of them, him and 2 other ones that were just plain black. Tanner fell in love with this one with the white nose. We thought about it for a day and decided it was too expensive...well, I wanted him so bad, I talked the lady down $75, and couldn't pass him up. Funny thing was- the lady's little girls named him Kevin. hahahaha. Tanner's dads name. We got him, took him home, and Tanner told me Happy Birthday for the next 2 years. hahaha. We have just been in LOVE with him the past 2 weeks. He is SO cute, probably the cutest puppy I've ever seen, all biases aside :)  It's fun to take him places because everyone oohs and awes and HAS to stop and pet him and play with him. It's fun. First picture we took with him when we brought him home.

He's actually grown quite a bit the past 2 weeks- but he's still like 2 pounds haha.

We've literally been partying with him for the past 2 weeks. We love him. I love him. :)
Here's some of my favorite pictures we've taken of him.
We've taken him in the car....

on walks when he only lasts 3 minutes hahaha
In time out for biting Tanner and drawing blood...

Taking a bath and looking like a rat..haha!
sleeping on Tans' shoulder in the car....

Being so cute all the time...

and sleeping with Tanner... haha isn't that precious? Ya he keeps me up all night unless he's in our bed...

                                     Taking him to the park....

sleeping like this...

And posing with his 2 favorite people :) haha

Yeah I think it's safe to say that we are in love with him. He's really a lot of fun and keeps us on our toes. Thanks, Starsky, for helping us keep our mind off of our little Tuff man and how much we miss him and wish he was here :) He's helped us immensely so far. Thanks babe for the best birthday gift ever.

Drive in!

I LOVE the drive-in. There's just something about watchin a movie outside, on a huge screen, cuddling up with your best friend in the back of a pick up. I don't know what it is- but I just love it. So Tan and I have gone 3 times already this summer. Since we got our pick-up we thought we'd put it to good use :) We went with some friends and saw Planet of the Apes, and the new Transformers movie. It was pretty funny because we were all excited to see Transformers and were pretty bummed that Planet of the Apes was playing. Well, transformers turned out to be really lame, and we all looooveed planet of the apes. Here's some pics.

We had a really good time with some hilarious friends!

4th of July!

This year we went to the Huntsman Fireworks in Driggs and they were AWESOME! best firework show I've seen yet. We went with some friends- and got there at about 7:00.  We got the amazing corn of course, walked around, saw lots of people we knew, talked, laughed, took naps, and threw each other in blankets haha.

We also went to the Rexburg Parade the morning of the 4th. I got work off to go camping but Tanner messed up his back- so we ended up going to Logan instead so Tanner's brother who's a chripractor could pop his rib back in.  We had a huge water fight, had bum wars with the nieces and nephews, went camper shopping, and Tan and I went fishing and caught 6 fish in less than an hour! It was awesome. I'm so grateful for this country. It is such a blessing to live in the country that we do.
