4 years? really??

We made it 4 years. and it has been the best, the hardest, and the most rewarding 4 years of my life! Tanner's little sister Aubree got married on october 9,  the day after our anniversary so we didn't get to much of what we wanted to do. We decided to be spontaneous and get a hotel in logan the night of the 8th instead of staying at his brothers house. We were glad we did. we had a lot of fun in our dumpy hotel. it was pretty ghetto but it's all about the memories right? :) Gracie had a bed to herself, and she slept 14 hours, so we couldn't complain.  And that was our celebration!

Aub got married the next day in Logan and she looked gorgeous. such a beautiful bride. Their sealer was amazing. probably one of the best sealings I've ever been to.  It was neat to have Tanner's whole family in there. every sibling with all their spouses. That's the best thing about being the youngest is you are the only one that gets to have all your siblings in the sealing room with you :)

We had such a fun time with tanners fam, and now everyone is married!! till the grandkids.

Since this post is mostly about being married for 4 years I'm going to recap some things I've learned about being married.

*Marriage is all about compromise
*Tanner is hilarious and makes me laugh so hard
*Experiencing trials together are no fun, but they make you become stronger to each other and to the Lord.
*Tanner and I love each other more and more as the days go on
*Life without a baby is boring! haha
*Gracie is the light of our lives and makes life worth living!
*Marriage isn't easy, but when you work at your differences and disagreements together- it becomes easy!
*There's nothing better than being married to your best friend.

I love tanner so much and I'm glad I get him forever!

I wish I could post some pics of our anniversary and the wedding but my computer is currently under some reconstruction....it won't let me do hardly anything. So....once I fix it I will be posting some pics soon!

6 months old!

People always warned me : "enjoy every little second with your newborn baby because before you know it they will be 6 months old!!"
Well, Gracie is now 6 months old and we just love her to pieces.  She gets more and more fun everyday. it is definitely going by super fast, but I am enjoying every minute.
*Gracie had her 6 month check up yesterday and here's her stats:

-she weighs 17.8 lbs!
-is 27 inches long
- her head is 17" around
-she got 3 shots and was a champ about it. Cried for 10 minutes and the rest of the day she was an angel!
- is in size 3 diapers
-wears 3-6 mo. tops and 6-9 mo. bottoms
-goes to sleep at 7:30pm, sleeps till 7:30am.
-loves to blow bubbles still
-she has the biggest smile and will smile at anyone
-still doesn't want to roll over
-just started sitting up 2 weeks ago!!
-loves her puppy
-knows who mommy and daddy are
-she responds to her name
-she LOVES baby food
-she loves all dogs. she just laughs and giggles at them. it's so funny!
-loves bath time
- she really only cries when she's tired or hungry
-I stopped swaddling her about 3 weeks ago and she's done great :)
-she is the light of my life!

She really is. I can't even describe the love I have for her. I can't imagine life without her really! must've been really lame and boring lol!
Every day I wake up, and I can't WAIT to go get her out of her crib. She always has the biggest smile on her face when she wakes up and gets so excited to see me. melts my little heart!
I really enjoy spending my days with her. it's fun to watch her explore and discover new things. most days I just stare at her in awe wondering how I got so lucky to have her. She is everything I could've imagined...but more. She sleeps through the night, she smiles at me, she laughs at anything, she could sit or lay down and play with toys for hours and be content, and she just has such a sweet spirit about her.

She definitely has the key to my heart that's for sure. I love her so so much and count my blessings every day that I got so incredibly lucky to be her mom.  Trying to grasp the concept of being Gracie's 'mom' makes me speechless.  It's such a bittersweet thing watching Gracie grow up. She has a sweet spirit, and I can't wait to see what she's like when she's older.

Of course I am bawling typing this. I guess I just want Gracie to know how much I love her. She doesn't understand that now, so that is why I blog about it, so that she can read this later on :) Gracie goo- you are our miracle!! we love you!!!

Well my phone broke, and our computer is being ridiculous so I can't get any pics of her from the lat month....
but Aunt Aubs took her 6 month photos and i love how they turned out. so here's some of my faves:

Her eyes are so gorgeous. so is her heart. LOVE YOU BABY GIRL!!!

Love,
Mom
