Baby #3

Well....Tan and I have some exciting news!!!
We found out just 3 1/2 months after Tuff left us that we were expecting again. We were ecstatic! We honestly weren't expecting to be pregnant that quick, but we are so happy and feel really blessed that it happened so quickly.  I found out the beginning of August. My period was late, but I have trained my mind to not think, "Oh my maybe im pregnant!," take a test, have it be negative, and then be depressed for a week. I have just had enough of that haha.  I took the test, stared it with wide eyes, put it in starsky's mouth, and told Tanner to call him. Sure enough Starsky held it in his mouth and took it to Tanner. Tan just stared at it and we both just couldn't believe it.  We have trained ourselves to be excited when this happens- but not too excited.  Some people might think that's dumb, but when you are us and have had some crazy things happen to your babies and pregnancies, it is the least we can do. So....we were both excited but not jumping for joy like we did with the first pregnancy.

We were living in my parents house at the time, and so I made this onesie to give to them before they left for Jerusalem:

They loved it. In fact, my Dad has it framed in their apartment in Israel :) They are excited.

Anyway, we decided with this one we were just going to wait. Wait before we told family, friends, anyone.  It is SO much easier to wait and then not have to tell your loved ones what happened, let alone the facebook world too. We even decided this time to not tell our siblings for a while- just for fun.

I went in really early again- at 4 weeks to talk to the Dr. to see what he wanted me to do this time. We talked about progesterone and lab results from Tuff, and he said that they still weren't able to diagnose or tell us what happened with Tuff. Why his little heartbeat was beating at 16 weeks at my appointment, and then the next day it just stopped.  The last resort is that he thinks it might've been caused by blood clots. But he doesn't know for sure.  So to be safe this time, I am taking a half an aspirin a day, along with some vitamins and things. We had our 8 week appointment on Sep 5. I was nervous, of course, but felt calm at the same time. Tanner came with me, and they did a vaginal ultrasound and there it was! It's little heart was beating, and moving around!  The pictures they printed out looked like a shark...haha so funny.
 Here it is:

We scheduled our 12 week appointment for Oct 3....and then waited and waited for 4 weeks. I hate the waiting game. Especially not knowing if my baby is okay.

At around 10 weeks, my belly started poking out, and got really hard. Just like last time. So I knew something was growing still. I couldn't even wear normal pants anymore at about 11 weeks because it was way too tight and uncomfortable! So..I went out and bought 2 pair.

Oct 3 FINALLY came around, and Tan came with me again. I don't not let him come with me haha :)  They did an abdominal ultrasound and it was the cutest thing I ever did see. It was a lot bigger this time, and it was moving like CRAZY! the ultrasound tech said she could hardly get measurements becuse it wouldn't hold still! haha. That's a good sign though they said.  The baby was kicking like crazy, and was even waving and holding it's arm up. It was really cute. The heartbeat was there and we felt really blessed once again. She got some cute pictures, and said all the measurements and everything looked good!  So we were on our way.
Here's a pic at 12 weeks:

Well, monday the 6th came and in the middle of the night I started cramping really bad, with blood to follow. I was a wreck.  I didn't want to wake Tanner up because it was 4 am, but I had to. So I layed on his shoulder crying and told him that I was bleeding. He was such a comfort to me. Rubbed my back and my face and told me to not stress- that everything could still be okay.  It helped a lot.  But I was still a nervous wreck. I called my Dr. right away, and he told me to go to Seasons ASAP.

I got there at 8:45, and they did a abdominal ultrasound to make sure there was a heartbeat. There was....and it was doing just fine in there. Still moving around a lot :)

He told me a few things I won't share on here but he did some things that were quite miserable!! But whatever it takes to figure out what was happening.  He did a few things and told me to prepare for premature deliver. I already kind of figured that from my family's history :)  He said that sometimes in pregnancy women bleed- and things can still turn out okay- so he sent us on our way.

We scheduled our 16 week ultrasound for Halloween and then waited again. For 4 more long weeks. ugh!! halloween came around and the tech guessed the gender....

A GIRL!!! I was ecstatic. Tanner is excited too but still working on being okay with it not being a boy :)

Here's some more pics:
And of course the belly shot at 16 weeks.
They said everything was looking great and healthy! So we set an appt for 4 more long weeks haha.

At around 19 weeks, I started to feel her move!! I was actually taken back the first time because it just felt like this little flutter in my stomach. I thought it was just gas and kind of ignored it.  But then days went on and i was constantly feeling things so I knew it was her! It's an amazing feeling- i love it.  And I'll tell you what- she's a mover!!

Nov 26 came around and we were actually really nervous. I was super nervous. Last time at this appointment things weren't okay and my heart was broken. So naturally I was scared. I felt calm though at the same time.

We got in there and she was still breathing!!!! I cried tears of joy. It was a miracle.  I could hardly stand it. She was so big compared to a month ago, and she was so cute!!! Here's some pics:
her cute little feetsies together :)

Her cute profile.

They took this 3D shot above and i just love it. She's already a doll.

And of course here's the belly at 20 weeks:

The whole time, she was moving a ton! she's a little jumping bean in there! The tech was having a hard time getting measurements, but eventually she got some. Her heartbeat was perfect, they measured all of her body parts and they said she is measuring a little 'short.' haha we had to laugh. She was curled up in a ball a lot of the time when we were watching her, and her knee cap was like resting on her forehead!!! haha maybe she'll be a little gymnast. It was pretty funny, and adorable of course :)

Tanner and I feel so blessed to have this sweet little girl joining us in 3 or 4 short months!! It'll be here before we know it. We love her SO much already, and can't wait to kiss her cheeks all day long.

November? where'd you go?

It seems like the month of November just flew by!! Tanner and I have been staying pretty busy with work, starsky, keeping up with my parents house, and just life in general!!  My Jamberry business is still a blast- and I got promoted to a lead consultant!! I am moving up in the ranks :)  It's super fun- I'm loving it!

This month has just been awesome and flew by!!!!

Tanner's first cabin!!!

Wow, I haven't been on here in almost 2 months! whoops- we've been crazy busy!

Well, Tanner finished his first cabin all by himself back in October!!! I am such a proud wife. He is such a hard worker and is so determined to complete big projects.  He's gonna be a great contracter some day. The cabin took him about 2 months to finish building. It was a smaler cabin, but a perfect start for him! He loved doing it, and had a great time. He said it was a big learning experience for him, but can't wait to build bigger and better cabins/homes. I can't wait for the day when he buils our very own house!!!

Here's some pics:

The finished product!!! I'm a proud wife.
