Carson started smiling at around 8 weeks! He also has REALLY chunked up. around 3 months he just got HUGE. wearing 6 months clothes, burtsing out the seams. I'm serving him ice-cream apparently. haha. he and Gracie both got super chunky around 8-10 weeks. Carson is a really chill baby. Gracie was the same way. I'll lay him on the floor and he'll just lay there haha. He is starting to smile and coo a little bit. He always has his hands in his fists. He is still a champ at nursing and I count my many blessing for that!! I never got this bonding experience with Gracie, and I'm going to miss it when he stops. So for now I will enjoy it all I can. Even if that means flashing a little boob on accident in public. LOL.
For Halloween Gracie was a horse and Carson was her cowboy!!! I stinking love dressing up my kids, especially babies. because they can't fight you they just sit there and let you do your thing. HAHAHA.
Tanners Dad blessed Carson at around 2.5 months old. I am obsessed with his outfit. I found it on etsy. Since Carson's middle name is Kevin, we thought it was only fitting to have Tanner's dad bless him. That was a very emotional day for me. I thought it would be better for me to be surrounded by friends and family but it actually made my emotions worse. All the emotions of Tanner not being in the church and the pain that is associated with that seemed escalated, all eyes were on us and I'm sure people were wondering why Tanner wasn't blessing him. Despite the emotions his blessing day brought out in me, my boy looked so handsome and Tanner's Dad gave him a really sweet blessing.
Gracie has been a real trooper in the adjustment of having another person around all the time. I've tried really hard to have set 1 on 1 time with her each day because I don't want her to feel like she's "second" now. I'm proud of her. She's so sweet to him and is just itching for him to play with her.
