Christmas 2015!

I am so lame and didn't get our cards sent out soon enough....so here's our first christmas card!!

Well I just have to say that christmas is 10x better with kids. even though gracie had no idea what was going on, tanner and I had a ball wrapping her presents and letting her open them :)
We spend christmas eve and half of christmas day with Tanner's parents and little sis and her husband. Christmas eve we played lots of super fun games, did our annual pickle tradition where we watched 'Jingle all the way,' and talked and talked. Christmas morning gracie was the last one awake hahaha. She didn't wake up until 7:20 so naturally we all waited for her :) since she was the only child it was fun.



She was so funny when we brought her downstairs and put her stocking in front of her. she was still trying to wake up but these pictures crack me up so much! haha

Here's some more pictures of christmas morning!

Gracie got this cute table that she can stand up on and play with the toys on the top. I also got her a sit to stand walker that she loves!  She also got some clothes, boots, and some adorable outfits from stacey and aubree.  

Sadly that's all the pictures I got of christmas, I was just trying to enjoy watching gracie play with all her toys. It really was a magical day for me to watch her :)

Tanner got me:

-a new vacuum.YAY!

-boots

-a shirt

-a jamberry planner

-long socks

I think that's it. I'm probably missing something haha

I got him:

-a tunnaeu cover for his truck

-and some shirts

Then we headed over t my parents for the rest of the day. we had a delicious dinner, and opened presents from them!!

Can't wait to see what the new year brings us :)

8 Months old! my heavens!

Gracie Goo is 8 months old and is a crawling machine!! She started crawling on the exact 8 month mark :)

*at 8 months, Gracie:
-wears size 3 diapers
-wears 6-9 month old clothes but is vastly outgrowing them....
-still goes to bed at 6 pm on the dot, and wakes up between 6:30- 7:30am
-loves baby food!
-bananas are her favorite
-still toothless!
- has a contagious laugh
-loves to talk and happy scream! haha
-everytime someone picks her up she kicks and kicks!
-is content laying in her pack n play for hours just talking
-loves to kick and gets so excited when someone goes to pick her up
-says 'da-da' a LOT!
-she loves her daddy
-she takes 3 naps a day, about 1 hour each
-she is my little buddy
-she is trying to stand up onto things!
-we love her to pieces!

She is growing up so fast. It's sad but happy at the same time!! I love to see her personality shine through. Love you sweetie pie!!

yes...I did it.

I don't now how many times I've heard people say to me about gracie, "how old is he? he's so cute!" or "oh what a cutie. what's his name?" stuff like that. at first I just brushed it off but now it's become a weekly thing where gracie gets called a boy!! even when she's wearing a bow. I don't get it..haha some people are just weird I guess. But anyway, I got really bugged the other day when someone said, "oh he is a doll. how old?" it just hit me I was like seriously? gracie doesn't look like a boy! and she was wearing boots with a bow that day hahaha.

so I decided to get her ears pierced. I've been debating it for like a month now. I grew up where my dad didn't really approve of getting your ears pierced so I was afraid I think because of that. But anyway- I did it and she was a champ! she cried for like 30 seconds and that was it. I never ever thought I would pierce my baby's ears, but they are so cute!! And since she was born in April, her birth stone is a diamond :)

Anyway- I'll be chat booking this as well, but she looks like a little doll. I think her daddy likes it a lot. :)

7 months!

Gracie is 7 months today!! man time is flying by!!
At 7 months she:
-is wearing size 3 diapers
-probably weighs 19-20 lbs.
-she loves taking baths and splashing!
-goes to bed at 7 and wakes up at 7
-LOVES baby food. her favorite right now is bananas
-her favorite toy is starsky. i turned around the other day and she was SUCKING ON HIS TAIL!!! yuck. it was pretty funny though.
-she is trying so so hard to crawl! she faceplates like 20 times a day
-loves sucking her thumb
-has an adorable toothless grin
-she loves sitting up and pretty much does that all day playing with toys.
-she is content sitting or laying on the floor playing for hours
-she has a hilarious laugh. i love it so much!!!

Here's some pics of the past month :)  I've decided I'm going to be scrapbooking gracie's life with chapbooks. they are my new found love and are GENIUS!  So.....It's undecided if ill be keeping up on my blog or not. but for now enjoy these cute pics:

For halloween this year we were sully, mike, and boo off monsters inc!!! gracie's costume was the cutest thing ive ever seen.

k she loves sleeping like this. it scares me so I go check on her like every hour!
