Well life with a toddler is a little wild. I'm so mad I've gotten so behind on blogging about Gracie!
BUT.....here it goes :)
Gracie is in the 98th percentile for height, weight, and her head circumference haha. The nurse actually told me to stop feeding her junk food :( it made me kind of upset. I hardly ever give her junk food. but at lest she's healthy :)
Gracie is such a hoot. she talks SOOO much. she never cries when she wakes up. she always just talks and talks and talks. she also laughs a lot and has my laugh haha.
I find myself staring at her daily. At her little features. her eyes are such a dark blue and her eyelashes are SOOO darn pretty and long! Her little button nose is perfect. Her lips are totally stevens lips and i LOVE them!!! they get bigger every day i swear haha.

Some of the things she says daily are:
"eeeewwwwwwwww mom pooopin!"
"potty?"
"night night starsky, i love you."
"uh-oh what happened?"
"mama where are you?"
"dada where are you?"
"eat?"
"bottle? please!!"
"starsky home?"
"i love you mama"
"blanken- where are you???" (blankie)
"thank you dada"
"let's go starsky!"
"Ohhhhh mannnn!"

"boooook- where are you book?"
"bye bye poopoo!"
"bye bye potty!"
"Kitty!- meow!"
I'm sure there's more but that's all I can think of for now!!
It's so funny- I'm slowly realizing how smart she really is. she repeats things that I say and I don't realize it until people comment on it and ask where she gets it. haha. it's totally from me. I realize that I say oh man and oh boy a lot- and I tell her to say please and thank you like 10x a day.
Gracie is a joy. Whenever we are at any sort of store- she ALWAYS, without a doubt waves at people and says super loud, "HI!". There was this one particular time where we were at walmart. This gentleman looked like he wasn't having the greatest day. Gracie just looks at him, waves and says HI! he got the biggest smile on his face and said hi back. I like to think that she made his day :)
Our daily routine consists of:
-wake up at 7:30
-drink a bottle/snuggle with mom in bed

- POTTY TRAIN!!!! I think she's totally ready for this. i just don't think i am. haha. i got her a book all about potty and poopoo and she loves it. so it's coming! I'm scared hahaha.
I'm finding I'm really enjoying having her as my little sidekick. Some days are rough, but for the most part- she keeps me on my toes and is my biggest blessing. I'm so grateful to have her. i love that she grabs my hand so that ill go play with her, or go look at her books, etc.
As time goes on, she's just gorgeous!!! her little features kill me- and her body shape is SOOO stinking cute. people comment on her little body all the time.
She definitely challenges me daily, but she helps me be better all at the same time. I can't wait to see who she becomes when she's older. she's definitely gonna slay the boys in her life! haha.
Gracie scared us to DEATH a couple weeks ago. I noticed when she woke up that she was really lethargic and warm. I took her temp and it was 99 so i gave her tylenol and threw her in the tub. the day went on and she was still not herself. Lunch time rolled around and she wouldn't eat much. I left for work like 10 minutes before this so tanner was at home with her. I told him that she had a fever and was acting funny and to give her more tylenol at 2:00.
so tan said that she all the sudden had her neck like kinked staring into the corner. Tan tried calling her name, and she wouldn't turn her head. it was kind of shaking a little bit too- so weird. Anyway so tan got up, started saying her name, and tried straightening her head. She wouldn't look at him, and he said that she became stiff. He picked her up our of her highchair, and her back was arched and wouldn't straighten. So he tried standing her up, and she just wouldn't do anything. At this point tan started to freak out so he ran to the truck with gracie, ,and drove to the hospital. I was at work, and when I looked at my phone all I saw was, "we are at the hospital. i need the carseat asap." so I ran out of work and rushed up there. all that was going through my head was is my baby ok?? gracie don't you leave me, etc. I was so scared.
I got to the ER, and she barfed everywhere. all over tanner, and all over the floor. As soon as she saw me she started crying harder and it broke my heart.
her temp got up to 104. YIKES. The Doc said that she had a febrile seizure- and those are caused form high temperatures. So they basically told us to watch her fevers, and to stay on top of them.
THANK HEAVENS SHE WAS OK! I have never been that scared in my entire life. And I want to say this was a tender mercy BECAUSE for 2 days precious I had been trying to find someone to watch gracie while I was at work. none of my usual people could watch her, and I was becoming really frustrated. so i made tanner stay home from work to watch her.
Well it's almost like this was just bound to happen and no one better than her dad to be there when it happened. like really. had it been any of my babysitters who knows what would've happened. so tender mercy right there. God is good!
I have billions of pictures of gracie from the past 4 months so here are some of my faves. ENJOY!
and gracie- stop growing up!!!

mom
