14 months!!

I feel like Gracie is so busy nowadays that I don't get much time to blog about her life!! She's napping right now, so I'm gonna hurry and do this!!
She turned 14 months on june 10th! GOSH time is flying.  At 14 months:

*Gracie has 6 teeth, working on #7- a whopping MOLAR!!!! I feel so bad for her- this molar looks huge!! by the way- teething is no fun! just if you were wondering :)
*she goes to bed around 730 and wakes up about 7!
*still holding strong to her 2 naps a day! her first one is about 2 hours after she wakes up for 1.5 hours. the afternoon nap is around 3 for 1 hour.
*She is in size 12-18 month clothes
*wearing size 4 diapers
*Haven't got her weighed lately but I bet she's around 25 lbs or so.
*She is into EVERYTHING! haha
*She is a people pleaser. she makes funny faces and noises to get anyone to look at her
*She LOVES mommy. I'm loving it. she's my little mini-me.
*she loves being outside! she wants to go out all day every day.
*she loves teasing starsky and laughs at him harder than anything else
*she can say lots of words! Starsky, puppy, birdy, mama, da-da, hello, hi, ball, kisses, and i think thats it. oh yeah she loves to wave to people too.
*she is learning to recognize how to associate what I say with an object! like "gracie where's your ball? or go get your blankie! Or where's your poo bear, or where's starsky?" things like that. It's so fun.  she'll usually go get the thing that I'm talking about and be all proud of herself.
*she can sign pretty good! She signs: please, all done, more, milk, juice
*she loves clapping!! she'll clap at herself when she's accomplished something. it's the cutest thing.
*she has a contagious laugh. which I'm so glad. it makes my day.
*She loves swimming and water! we go swimming like 2-3 times a week and she loves it. it takes her a while to warm up but once she sees mommy do it- she'll do it over and over
*she loves going up and down stairs.
*she is running!!!!!! so help me.....haha
*she loves shoes! whenever she sees anyones shoes she'll carry them around and try to put them on her own feet.


She is at a very curious and adventurous stage right now. she definitely keeps me on my toes every day!!  But honestly I wouldn't have it any other way. I love that she snuggles with me, and laughs with me, and is my little BFF> we have our days, but it's the little tender moments that make it THE BEST JOB EVER!!

I love my busy bee gracie girl so so much.

This face right here melts my heart. every single morning she will hide from me in her crib. and run from side to side haha. then she'll just sit here like this and stare at me and smile. Love you baby girl!!

 I'm not kidding when i tell you this was her face one day when she heard daddy's truck!

This right here is the PERFECT set up for us on a regular day. with some popsicles and music- mmmm love it.

I adore this picture above. Gracie's pretty much 3rd grandma passed away 1.5 weeks ago. It was a heartbreaking and sudden thing.  She and Don took care of gracie for 5 hours a week and they just adored her. They thought of Gracie as their own, and were such caring people. Don is 90 years old, and ellie was 64.  Ellie had a sudden stroke in may, and was in the hospital for 3 weeks. Her medicare only paid for 3 weeks of her stay there, so her daughters took her out of the hospital and took her home to Texas. She passed away 1.5 weeks later. I don't know the full story, but from what I've heard her death could've been prevented. It breaks my heart so much. She really was an angel, and just loved gracie so much. she'd do anything for gracie- and showed it in everything she did. After she passed Don showed me her room and how her entire closet was full of things for Gracie. I hope that I can live to be like her! she really was one of God's angels. Don loved her so much, and it has been heartbreaking to see him hurt and want to be with her so bad. I don't know what my old man friend is going to do. He calls me like twice a week just needing her. ellie was an amazing woman- one that has inspired me to be better, and to be a guardian angel to others like she was for me, tanner, and gracie. we love you ellie and will miss you more than you'll know!

13 months

Goll time SLOW DOWN!!!

At 13 months gracie:
*is in size 4 diapers
*has transitioned from bottles to sippies! she loves the ones with the straw that come out the top.
*goes to sleep at 7 or 7:30 pm and wakes up at 7 am
*LOVES playing outside. she'd play out there all day if i let her!
*she still loves and teases starsky. their relationship cracks me up
*loves getting into all cupboards
*she loves talking to herself! haha
*she still takes 2 naps. I'm counting my blessings with this one! she takes one at 9-11 am and another at 3-4:30pm.
*She can wave
*she LOVES her daddy!
*she cries every day when he leaves for work :(
*she says, mama, dada, starsky, ball, more, doggy, daddy, hi, and uh-oh!
*she is a crackup.
*she loves food! she eats pretty much anything
*she loves music and will dance to any kind of music!
*she has 6 teeth. 4 on top and 2 on bottom!


This past month has been such a joy. I've been doing a lot of sensory activities with her like playing with play dough, sitting in a bucket of rice, swimming with toys, bubbles, and more! she loves them. she's developed a stage 3 stye on her eye so that's not fun. We have to watch it for a week and see if it gets better. if not we'll have to take her to get surgery :( this mamma can't talk about it.

 look at that sad stye :( I HATE holding her down and putting heat on it 5 times a day. it's the worst!!!! I hope it gets better.

We thought she was asleep in our camper, I turn the corner and found this hahahaha.
