LAKE POWELL!!!

Oh Lake Powell.  Words can't even describe how much fun this trip was. I am so, so, SO grateful for Lon and Carrie for allowing the Ron Anderson family to intrude on this fun adventure.  This trip was planned a year in advance, and the memories will never be forgotten.  I'm so grateful I have pictures to recap all the fun we had. Fun that I definitely won't ever forget.

Anyway, so the Ron Anderson family decided we would have this be our T.I.M.E. reunion, since it is about the only time we could all get together.  Poor Ashley- she was at home with child, and we all missed her so much!!  But anyway, all of us were there on Tuesday the 21st, and it was just our family on the houseboat.  We had all the toys to ourselves,  and man was it fun.  For 2 days we had everything to ourselves, and it was just fun to be reunited with all my nieces and nephews, and siblings. I love them all so much.  So grateful we got to be together.

The Henderson clan all came on Thursday, and for the next 2 days, there were about 30 people in the houseboat. It was crazy, but SO FUN!!! Mom and Carrie bought a bunch of food for all of us to snack on, and it was just very relaxing. We would fall asleep on the top of the boat, slide down the slide, ride jetskiis, go wakeboarding, make sand castles, go down a slip n' slide,  go kayaking, go hiking, water skiing, seashell searching, and eating lots and lots of food.  We also had devotionals every night, and those were always very spiritual and emotional.  We woke up every morning at about 6:00, and started our adventures from there.

Tanner and I decided that we better start enjoying not having kids for the moment.  It was fun to just be able to be he and I, and to just go off on our own adventures. We rode the wave runners into a canyon, and talked there for about an hour.  We also went on a kayak ride and hiked up some mountains.  We had a water fight, had a chicken fight on top of the kayak, made a sand castle, fell asleep in the sun, and played with all the little kiddos.  We had such a good time- and are so grateful for all the many memories we have on this trip to look back on.

After Lake Powell, we all drove back to St. George and heard Lon, Carrie, and Sarah speak.  Sarah opened her mission call and is going to the Taiwan, Taichung mission- leaving October 2!  So excited for her.  Lon and Carrie had a big lunch for everyone, and we all sang a musical number in church.  This trip is definitely one that won't ever be forgotten- and I can't say enough how grateful I am that we were able to go.  I was going through withdrawals from not seeing my 6 adorable nieces and nephews, and oh how I love them so much!! Well, Tanner and I had a blast from the past, and can't wait to go again in 4 years!! (hopefully)

Love you Hendersons and Andersons!!

SO MUCH FUN :)
